I meant to pour myself some of my W L Weller 12 year that I bought here that’s real good… But I poured myself some W L Weller 7 year that I haven’t had in a while… I originally wasn’t really drinking it because I bought it with Adam at the liquor store by his house that he went to all the time and he and I went to all the time when I was down there visiting, I bought it when I spent the month plus when I was moving out to Seattle and so wasn’t really drinking it and hadn’t drank it at all since he died… I wasn’t sure when or if I was going to drink it, hadn’t decided what I wanted to Read the rest of this entry »

I’m kind of in a melancholy state of bitter sweet happiness right now, kinda like fuck my life but smiling, like the circumstances that are making you say that are slightly amusing…. Been drinking some bourbon, started out with Buffalo Trace but switched to Wild Turkey because I need to get rid of it. both bourbon which is my drink of choice.  I’m the one that turned Adam on to bourbon, he liked scotch almost exclusively until I kept at him about bourbon. 🙂  Even kinda drunk I’m cheap, because I started drinking the wild turkey because I was like, “Hmmm… I’m probably drunk enough that Read the rest of this entry »

Weekend before last sucked, as did most of last week. Thursday it broke and I felt normal, Friday was the same. Saturday was close to the same, Sunday kinda felt like going down hill again, and here we are Monday, and it sucks again.

I got a call on Wednesday, July 10th from a friend named Mike, who is really good friends with my Buddy Adam in Kansas City. He goes, “I don’t want to alarm you, it might be nothing but something weird’s going on and I don’t know what to do.” he goes on to explain that he, his brother and Adam were on Facetime together. Adam had been drinking some (which wasn’t abnormal) but was goofing around with a gun of his (which would be sorta abnormal). Apparently Mike and his brother saw Adam hold the gun up, jump and then got disconnected from Facetime. He tried calling back but Adam wouldn’t answer.
