stumbled on this quote and it rings pretty true for me currently:
The greatest tragedy in life is that most people spend their entire lives indefinitely preparing to live – Paul Tournier

Gotta work to sustain those chemical reactions hehe. 🙂
What’s funny about that quote, is the fact that many folks spend an inordinate amount of time preparing to live the after-life. 🙂
That reminds me, you find a way to take that vacation yet ? I read your “another thing”post way back when you posted it and had nothing to really offer. But that question did cross my mind recently. Funds permitting, find a way to vacate. Doesn’t have to be expensive, just go somewhere. Like I’ve wanted to visit the caves in Kentucky (think “Mammoth”) for many years now but haven’t ever really gotten around to it.
On topic, ever wish you didn’t have to sleep ? It so gets in the way. 🙂
I grew up skipping lunch all the time and as a result, never really feel hunger like others do; and so mostly eat out of boredom and sensory input (taste). So I’m not particularly pressed or never had reason to be pressed about eating all the time. (but drink… yes… never have enough) General Patraeus is known for eating one meal a day and have been personally doing that all my life as well. The 3 square meal thing is for those that still work out in the corn fields. We’re in the machinery age now… sit, sit, and sit some more.
