I don’t feel like writing much so I’ll get to it, yesterday and today sucked, little worse than the normal from the original chemo but it’s not the worst I’ve felt from chemo so hoping that continues, still have a few more day of the shittiest probably. The worst kicked in the second day after like, it did last time, yesterday and today are the two days and third day from from monday, today is second day and first day for monday and tuesday, etc. So I’m probably going to be feeling like this probably until at least Saturday but don’t really know.
Dr. Drgaon gave me a number for some kind of surgeon or something that is going to look at my hip and see if I need a metal rod… hopefully I don’t, fucking with that while doing chemo and then the stem cell shit, not that awesome, but broken hip isn’t either so need to get it checked.
Oh, and the hickup thing, I that to them yesterday or tuesday, whatever it was, and the nurse goes, “oh, ya, that’s *name of drug here*” and I got a prescription for something that helps hickups not happen and haven’t really had a problem since, just one or two here and there and that’s it, no more than usual.
Oh how I miss that tongue swollowing nyack durp sound… and here I’ve been trying to teach myself how to do it…
Keep on sluggin!
A drug that cures hiccups ? Wonder why that isn’t over-the-counter if not already…
Glad to “hear” that’s resolved. What can be done regarding the bone deterioriation ? Is that normal with chemo ? Grrrrrr…
The anti-hiccup drug is baclofen, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baclofen It’s a technical document so it’s probably right. 😛
the bone lesion is something that can happen with hodgkin’s apparently. It should heal it’s self as the hodgkin’s is taken care of but if it’s too weak they may have to do something with screws or a rod or something, but have to talk to the surgeon to see if that’s needed.
