Meant to update sooner but had a friend in town so was spending my time with him.\u00a0 Anyway, the day he was driving up, Tuesday, I rubbed my buzz cut head\/hair and it almost hurt a little bit and my scalp felt slightly irritated by it, “that’s not a good sign” I thought, well, took a shower and I checked my towel after drying my hair like I did every day and there was some hair on it, little bit but noticeable.\u00a0 I then pinched some hair and lightly tugged, all the hair between my fingers came out.\u00a0 No pain, didn’t feel anything, so basically the hair was sitting in the hair folical not attached to anything poking me from the inside.\u00a0 So then for the next 5 hours (other than 20mins for lunch) I was systematically tugging all my hair out.\u00a0 My buddy arrived as I was almost done, the back was hard to get everything, so he grabbed the patches that I missed and then we used some Nad’s (sticky shit that’s used like waxing for hair) to get what was left that was not attached but still on my head.\u00a0 There was still some left but it was not nearly enough quantity to pull out with my fingers.\u00a0 Packing tape wasn’t doing the job well enough and would have wasted a bunch, so got some Nad’s.\u00a0 My eye brows are still hanging tough but probably lose those later, then I’ll look like an alien that likes earth food to much. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n
I’d have preferred not to lose it but not by much and I already had a buzz cut.\u00a0 It was odd that it was all of a sudden Tuesday ALL of it came out, like 99.99% of it with VERY few left still on my head with no patches.\u00a0 Though I guess all out at once is better than having it be slow and having it be all patchy and funny looking.<\/p>\n
Been feeling decent so was able to have a good time with my buddy in last week.\u00a0 Slowly sleeping better but have chemo again tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday, so that may reset sleeping to kinda poor but we’ll see.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
